Oberthur Chinese Dance Troupe

Oberthur Chinese Girls Dance Troupe started in 2005.The dancers are a group of Year5 - Year7 girls, who are interested in Chinese traditional dances and gather together every Friday morning before school to learn some Chinese dance techniques and also beautiful dances.Miss Chee is their fantastic dance teacher. With her talent, our girls enthusiasm and hard work, also with great support of parents,Oberthur Girls Dance Troupe has been performing at different venues for various functions - school assemblies, Chinese New Years, Harmony Week, etc.Well done girls!

Chinese Announcers at Assembly...
For the first time we had Milly and Tom making introductions in Chinese following the ones in English. That is why we see them in cultural dress. We are hoping that this will continue to be a feature of our assemblies and provide a practical application for the Chinese the students are learning.

2007 Chinese Learning Journey

Chinese Learning Journey is always a great opportunity for our students to show their parents what they've been learning and doing in Chinese class. It's also a fantastic interactive time for parents and their children to do some fun language and cultural activities together! Here are some highlights of our 2007 Chinese Learning Journey at Oberthur.

Chinese Panda Class Award - Week 2, Term2

In Term 2, 2008 we resumed our Chinese Panda Class award. Between each fornight assembly, every class is trying their best to get most stamps towards winning the giant panda " Da Jingjing". The winning class gets a certificate, looks after " Da Jingjing" for the next two weeks, and each students receives a small surprise from Mrs. Zhang. Congratulations to Area 9, who are the first winning class.
